To us the new ships are like hotels on giant barges whereas the older ships are just that, proper ships.

My goodness. Carnival Legend! I was on that ship around 20 years ago! Can't remember if it was a med cruise or Carribbean. Amazing to see it again. I went to Iceland for a day (flying from Leeds Bradford to Keflavik early morning and returning late evening) many years ago. Very interesting experience like every known weather in one day! Snow, hail, rain, sun.....and the blue lagoon was great.

Marcus please let the girl speak. It must be difficult when you have been telling school kids to be quiet all your working life,but she needs to be heard.

My Wife and myself have always used Marella/Tui for our cruises but lately they have changed their business model to maximize profits and to be honest we didnt enjoy our last cruise with them so we are on the lookout for an alternative so this vid is much appreciated, many thanks for posting.

I remember coming to work one morning, I was managing a store in St James's Street at the time. I walked down from the station as I had to commute in daily. I wondered why there was a long queue of mainly young people along the Steine. I was surprised that it was an extremely long queue and went around a very long block passing my store and nearby Woolworths. That was the queue with young people applying at the Job Centre to work as extras on Quadrophenia.

Very nice video. I too have explored ancient Tenby and stayed there a couple of times when I lived in the UK. My wife and I really enjoyed Tenby.

Was the ship at full capacity or are they short staffed? I had the breakfast served from the kitchen when I was onboard and wondered what the reasoning was, why they did a buffet for you.

Sorry that you did not get to Dun Leary I think they do Cruises from Avonmouth to Dun More East which would be well worth checking out. You can get to Visit Waterford and Wexford on that cruise.
